High in antioxidant properties, Goji berry’s oxygen radical absorption capacity (ORAC) is 25,000 (compared to blueberries' 2,500). It is rich in calcium, potassium, iron, zinc, selenium, Vitamin B and Vitamin C. In a study done in China in 1991, it has been shown that the berries’ phytochemical helps to prevent the oxidation of DNA and restore damaged DNA. Some of the attributes of the Goji include aiding in sun protection, boosting collagen, reducing inflammation and promoting a healthy and youthful glow.
